South Africa
New candidates must apply online for C1D visa interview at this link Applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa http://southafrica.usembassy.gov
Here they will be able to complete all forms and receive an interview date online. Steiner provides a letter that must be taken to this interview. This is the link for South African Passport holders, however other African passport holders must call the US consulate in their country to arrange an interview date.
A Norwegian Medical must be scheduled from a list of two practitioners that is sent with the starter pack (note I only have a hard copy of these)
A Criminal background check (NAME CHECK) is obtained from a local police station on request. It will take at least 28 working days before you receive it, so please apply on time.
A flight to LHR must be purchased along with Travel Insurance, to arrive no later than one day prior to Training Start Date.
A Bank draft for MFF must be organised for sterling £245 plus £32 for uniforms.
Once all the above has been completed a Confirmation form can be completed and fax returned to the relative South African Office.
Australia & New Zealand
