All massage therapists attend the Elemis ten-day course where, as with the beauty therapists role, the focus is on standards, professionalism and revenue, massage therapists are also expected to exceed these expectations.

During the course, you will develop deep tissue massage techniques, incorporating your own personal massage movements with our advanced techniques. This not only ensures that your guest receives the ultimate personalised massage, but most importantly, with correct posture and use of the body, you will have a long-standing career with us.

During your course, we will train you in muscle detoxifying seaweed wraps, which saturate the muscle fibres, releasing tension and swelling from joints, combined with a Deep Tissue massage you will be able to provide longer lasting results for your guests.

Aroma Stones therapy is taught to the advanced massage therapists. Using the healing volcanic stones from Bali, the stones are gently heated and then rhythmically massaged in to the body. Special stones are anointed with aromatherapy oils, and placed on the body’s key energy points or ‘chakras’ to balance the body. This therapy offers the ultimate in pure indulgence for our guests onboard.
