Monica Sorrentino was born in a small town near Naples and currently resides in Southern Italy. Her passion for traveling brought her to the beautiful town of Caceres, Spain during her University Erasmus Scholarship program.  After receiving her degree in Science of International Diplomacy, Monica moved on to her first experience with life at sea.

Working on board can be tough at first, but with her extensive language skills and international mindset, her first years on board passed faster than she could ever imagine, creating an infinite network of friendships, work experience and life long memories.

After traveling around the Mediterranean, the Fjords of Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Caribbean and Central America, she decided to broaden her International involvement challenges in the Cruise Industry.  Monica joined Steiner in the summer of 2007 becoming the recruiter for Italy.
