Hairdressers

Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent qualification, or

Have obtained a 3 year apprenticeship
Barbers
- Level 2 NVQ or equivalent
Beauty Therapists

Level 2 and 3 NVQ, or ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, IHBC, BTEC, HND or equivalent qualification, and
-
Must also be qualified in both face/body massage and face/body electrics
Massage Therapists

Must be qualified in Swedish/Sports massage with NVQ, ITEC, VTCT, (minimum 150 hours)

Any additional courses, e.g. aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, Reiki, remedial massage is beneficial
Massage with Facial Electrics
- Level 2 NVQ and Level 3 NVQ (Massage)
Fitness Instructors

Nail Technicians

Level 2 NVQ in manicure and pedicure

Must be able to do a full set of acrylic nails (French polish) in 1 hour 10 minutes

French polish, using white acrylic powder for the tips, and pink acrylic powder for the rest of the nail, tips and forms may be used

You will also be asked to demonstrate a polish
Receptionist

Your English needs to be of a very high level. You are the face of the spa, therefore you will have exceptional appearance and communications skills.

Work experience as receptionist in a Fitness centre, Beauty centre, Hairdressing salon, would be a bonus
Acupuncturists

A Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Acupuncture and/or Chinese Medicine
This varies from country to country, but the applicant must have graduated from a recognized university with a combined total of at least 2000 classroom and clinic hours. Please visit http://www.nccaom.org/educatedoutus.htm for a list of pre approved schools. Please note that if your school does not appear, you may still be eligible. However further information will be required.

Any additional courses/certifications such as: Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, Tui Na, Chinese Herbs, Electro-Acupuncture, Cranio-Sacral are a plus but not mandatory.
